Very nice sandy beach front. Nice dock to take a walk out on or fish off of.
Great sand beach in a protected harbor so few, mild waves. The beach is bisected by a long pier you can walk down, fish from, or jump off (though I am not sure the last one is officially condoned). We kayaked out to the lighthouse and then spent an hour crisscrossing back and forth looking for the Dorcas shipwreck. There was a map on a tour website but it's not super precise so I added a marker on Google Maps now. Water was cold even on a 90 degree day in June but we still swam. Free parking and public bathrooms and shower for after the beach.
Great place to swim! We were there for there Maritime festival and had a blast with awesome music all day long down on the beach!
Great beachfront for a family day at the lake. A wonderful view of the lighthouse and breakwall from both the beach and the pier. Lots of nice sidewalks/paths for walking, a good public restroom, and a great beach.
It's on the beach, with a great view of the lighthouse. The Trescott Street Pier is here.
